The 11th Annual CCO Barbecue at VE3EJ's will be held
on August 25 this year.
Date: Saturday 25th of August, 2012
Time: Doors open 2 PM, AGM 4:30 PM
Place: VE3EJ QTH near Grassie
NOTE: The following content subject to change
Menu and Pricing
Again this year a caterer will be hired for the occasion. The proposed
menu will consist of:
Rolls & butter
Hamburger (veggie burger if you request)
Grilled chicken
Potato salad
Cole slaw
Italian pastries/squares
Coffee/Tea
There will be a $15.00/head charge to cover the
added expenses. This will however cover both the meal and one door
prize ticket.
Please confirm your desire to attend. It is very
important that we get an accurate head count to allow the caterers
every opportunity to prepare with the right amount of food. We would
hate to see anyone go hungry as a result of not indicating their
intention to show up. Please send an email to ve3ej at rac.ca
if you plan to attend. Let me know if you need directions to get
here.
Reminders
The BBQ is a BYOB and BYOLC event. (Bring your own beverages) and
(Bring your own lawn chairs).
Tickets
As every year, manufacturers and suppliers have shown astounding
support for CCO by contributing generously to make our annual door
prize draw a success.
Tickets are $5 each, or 3 for $10, and are available now! If you
plan on attending the BBQ, we will be there selling tickets. If you
cannot attend, you can buy tickets via PayPal (ve3cr at rac.ca), or
by sending a cheque (made out to CCO) or greenstamps to VE3CR's
callbook address.
Remember, CCO doesn't ask for any membership fees - the door
prize draw is the only fund-raising activity that CCO conducts, and
funds everything that the club does to benefit amateur radiosport,
in Ontario and around the world. If you're going to be there, please
buy as many tickets as you can. If you can't make it, please
consider ordering some tickets anyway, to support the club's
activities and potentially win a great prize.
I hope to see you all on the 25th.
