Date: Cancelled this year due to the Global Pandemic
It is with regret that we are announcing that the Contest Club Ontario annual general meeting generally held at VE3EJ's QTH in Niagara at the end of August will have to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is doubtful that gatherings the size of ours will be permitted in August and one has to think about putting our membership at risk should rules relax by that time.
Your executive is considering alternatives including postponement to a later date.
We would like to remind the membership that CCO has never charged annual dues and has relied solely on the generosity of its participants. Keep in mind that CCO’s costs will likely increase this year in part due to the cost of shipping all contest plaques and sCCOre awards rather than handing them out at the meeting.
